FOB Rock - The FOB is a multi-faceted anchor capable of coping with a wide range of seabed types. It has terrific holding power and is able to withstand pull from varying directions if an unruly sea state takes hold of your vessel. The ROCK has also been certified as ‘High Holding Power’ by Bureau Veritas, and is considered an ideal anchor for use in crowded waters with limited mooring space. This galvanised steel anchor is weighted at the point to ensure a highly efficient angle-of-attack when bedding in, which it does incredibly quickly.
FOB HP - HP for Holding Power. Because that is what the FOB HP brings to your vessel – the knowledge that whatever the conditions, she will hold fast. Forged from galvanised steel, the HP sports a ‘Crown Design’, which ensures burying in to the seabed when laying anchor. Rounded flukes provide increased surface area to induce more drag, and an optimum fluke angle has been calculated to achieve almost immediate holding. All this is managed whilst being around 25% lighter than some equivalent models from other leading manufacturers – with no compromise on performance.
